BPSC Special Teacher Educational Qualification
For Class 1 to 5 Teachers :
Higher Secondary (12th pass) with minimum 50% marks, and
D.El.Ed in Special Education from RCI (Rehabilitation Council of India) recognized institute with valid RCI CRR number
Or an equivalent Diploma/Certificate in Special Education with RCI CRR number
Six-month teaching training in cross-disability (inter-disability) is mandatory
For Class 6 to 8 Teachers :
Graduation with 50% marks from a recognized university
B.Ed in Special Education from RCI approved institute with valid CRR number
Or equivalent Diploma/Certificate in Special Education with B.Ed and RCI CRR number
Must have 6 months of cross-disability teaching training
BPSC School Teacher Age Limit
The minimum age required to apply for the BPSC Special School Teacher Vacancy 2025 is 18 years. The maximum age limit depends on the applicant’s category. Unreserved male candidates can apply up to 37 years. For BC/EBC candidates of both genders and unreserved females, the age cap is 40 years. SC and ST applicants, whether male or female, are eligible till 42 years of age, as per the relaxation guidelines set by BPSC.
